Would recommend for a momentary pause

Cozy room, good breakfast, with anice and neat setting that allowed for easy exploration of local attractions with free Wi-Fi and a tv in our twin room.

No negatives from this place.

The service was great, including an astonishing breakfast with berries and locally sourced sausages. Our double room was equipped with comfortable beds and external loo & bathroom. The property's location was unbeatable and magnificent, in the pub across the road.

Fantastic and lovely breakfast with plenty of choices. Location really close to wonderful restaurants as well as local attractions and wonderful restaurants. Early check-in and excellent service;))

The room lacked en-suite, but the breakfast was really good and the place was very clean.

The cute staff offered a glass of Prosecco, setting a lovely tone for my holiday. The clean, well-equipped Scandinavian lodge provided cozy comforts, including a good hot tub that was thoroughly enjoyable to unwind in each evening.

I found the check-in process to be smooth and quick. The location is fine, with both Aysgarth Falls and West Burton easily walkable. The lodge was clean, with modern decor and a lovely hot tub that offered complete privacy. Tea, coffee, and basic essentials were welcomed touches upon arrival. The staff were really good, particularly John, who provided great recommendations and was genuinely engaging. I did notice some areas that could improve. The fridge space in the lodge is quite limited. I encountered a few dusty spots, which took away from the overall cleanliness feel. The hot tub struggled with temperature issues , and the maintenance staff resolved it quickly but was inconvenient.

The lodge cleanliness is in desperate need of attention!!! Stains on curtains and sticky dining surfaces are unacceptable. Maintenance of kitchen appliances requires immediate action!!! Shoebox-like bedrooms lack adequate storage space.

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant with great food. The lodge was a bit dirty with cobwebs.

The TV was out of service due to high winds, which left us without evening entertainment, and one of the showers was drippy and non-functional. While the restaurant on-site served good food, I found that some items could be more reliably available, and I experienced some cleanliness oversights, like dusty corners in the lodge.

Jason provided a warm reception and helpful insights about the local area. The room was meticulously clean, and I particularly enjoyed the substantial breakfast. The scenic views around Aysgarth added to the charm of the experience.

The lodge had everything we needed, and we enjoyed a relaxing morning with coffee on the deck. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals.

Free Wi-Fi and tv were great, but the room had some dust issues.

Had a lovely time unwinding in the hot tub and enjoying some quiet moments by the fire pit. There are great opportunities for relaxation with the on-site restaurant and a nearby scenic walking trail. The only thing was that it could have used a little extra parking space, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊

The staff here is excellent and courteous, they have recently renovated and the rooms are beautiful and come with refreshments.
